The Bedrooms

We have two twin bedded rooms and one single. They all have their own bathroom facilities but due to the listing of the house only one is en suite, but the others are only a few paces away from the rooms. All are equipped with everything you would require to make you have a comfortable and happy stay. Each has a kettle and a variety of teas and coffee, biscuits and bottled water, so you should never be thirsty! The rooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard.

The En Suite:

A large room with two brass bedsteads and old pine furniture. One window looks out onto the Abberley Hills and the other over the duck pond. The bathroom also looks out onto the pond - you can sit in the bath and watch the ducks swimming around! The main photo (above) is of this room.

The Blue/Yellow Room:

Two comfortable beds with pretty blue and white tablecloths on the bedside tables. Lots of built in hanging and shelving space and a winged back chair to read in! This room has a separate bath/shower room - the best in the house overlooking the back garden!

The Single Room:

Has a comfortable bed, a dressing table suitable to write on, book shelves and built in hanging/shelving. This room has a separate shower room.

Alistair Sawday from Special Places to Stay:

"A half-moated farmhouse in a magical spot: the timbered part - 14th century and listed - peeps through the trees as you approach. Gorgeous in summer (terrace, tennis, gardens, ducks) but light, relaxing and spacious all year round: antiques, soft colours and an open fire in the guest sitting room, fresh fabrics and carpeted comfort in the bedrooms, and peaceful views to Abberley Hills and beyond. Roger and Anne are generous hosts and give you local bacon at breakfast and stewed fruits and jam from their plums. Make time for Great Witley, the most stunning baroque church in England."
